German violinist Christian Tetzlaff earned the classical Midem prize for his 2006 recording of Beethoven's Violin Concerto. Join in the excitement of his uniquely thoughtful interpretation during this concert of the famed Chamber Orchestra of Europe.

To complete the program, the popular young conductor Vladimir Jurowski will lead the instrumentalists in Schubert's Symphony no. 4 (the 'Tragic'); his little‐heard gems the German Dances, arranged by Webern; and Webern's own expressive Five Movements, op. 5.
