I Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca presents a sparkling Baroque chamber music concert with Vivaldi and two world premieres in Düsseldorf.

The audience can visualise a wonderful musical liaison in this special chamber music concert. The most famous Italian Baroque ensemble Sonatori de la Gioisa Marca meets two of the most important instrumental soloists of the early music scene, recorder player Dorothee Oberlinger and Baroque bassoonist Sergio Azzolini. All are internationally celebrated in their own fields and gained fame for their Vivaldi interpretations. This they will prove in this concert, and in addition, the soloists and the düsseldorf festival! have contracted two pieces by the composers Drake Mabry and Willy Merz. The audience can look forward to a recorder concert and a double concert for bassoon, recorder and orchestra along with two world premieres by Vivaldi

The düsseldorf festival! — formerly known as the altstadtherbst kulturfestival — presents in its 22nd edition a variety of classical music, contemporary dance and music, and sacred music. The Hilliard Ensemble, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Dance Company, Vokalensemble Ars Cantandi, or the Smith Quartet are only a few international artists to be named.
