Relish the illustration of Dutilleux's works by the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine d'Angers. Pascal Rophé, Robert Swinston, and violinist Julian Suzlman bring their formidable talents to bear on three of the most essential of Dutilleux's compositions in what would have been his centenary year.

A metaphysical triptych centred around the myth of Persephone seems an immensely apt choice for the works of a composer whose music often seems to lead one back inescapably to themes of metamorphosis and life's cyclical nature. Testimony to his contemporary relevance, Dutilleux' music has enjoyed a surge of renewed interest since his death in 2013.
