Hans Graf conducts the Tonkünstler‐Orchestra Niederösterreich and the violinist Benjamin Schmid.

A re‐encounter with one of the most popular works of Russian Romanticism is bound to be an extraordinary concert delight: Tchaikovsky composed his Fifth Symphony in only a few weeks. His comments on the programme of the first movement are well known: he described it as «complete surrender to fate». Less famous but a great composer in every respect was Karol Szymanowski. His oeuvre has unjustly fallen into neglect – his virtuoso music for solo violin and orchestra promises to be an unforgettable music experience.
