Two legendary soloists and the National Russian Orchestra come together in one performance.

Gidon Kremer has been one of the world's finest violonists for half a century now. Throughout his career he has always been committed to promoting the lesser known pieces of classical music. This evening he will perform Schumann's violin concerto, which has been unjustly neglected.

Mikhail Pletnev is among the world's best pianists and conductors. In 1990 he founded the Russian National Orchestra, which he conducts in this program.
