To honor the 200th anniversary of Verdi’s birth, the Opéra de Montréal presents the composer's final opera. Marie‐Nicole Lemieux sings the role of the irresistible Mrs. Quickly, for which she has won acclaim the world over, including at La Scala.

Old, pot‐bellied Sir John Falstaff still thinks of himself as a great ladies’ man, sending out identical love letters to married women. But the merry wives decide to take revenge on the old man. The result will be his utter humiliation…
