Elina Garanča & Friends: Music in the Alps

Surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the Kitzbühel Alps, Elina Garanča presents a program dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi at 'Klassik in den Alpen' (Music in the Alps). The internationally renowned Latvian mezzo‐soprano will be joined on stage by American tenor Bryan Hymel and the Opera Chorus of the Slovak National Theatre. The artists will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Vienna Volksoper under the direction of Karel Mark Chichon and the evening will be hosted by renowned ORF moderator Barbara Rett.

The program celebrates the bicentenary of the birth of Giuseppe Verdi with works by the great composer and his contemporaries. Enjoy favorites from Massenet's Werther, Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana, and Verdi's Il Travatore, Nabucco, and Aida.

Take in exceptional classical music at this open air concert on the grounds of the Pfarrau Park surrounded by the peaks of the Kitzbühel alps.
