Charles Dutoit conducts operas by Ravel and Stravinsky
Over het evenement
Enjoy two short operas sung in the Concertgebouw.
Ravel's L'heure espagnole depicts the events in a clockmaker's shop: the wife is trying to cheat on her husband, but the customers constantly arriving make it difficult.
Stravinsky's The Nightingale is based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale: a bird in the forest and a Chinese emperor have an argument, but by the end, all is forgiven.
