Carmina Burana: Prague Philharmonic Orchestra

At the Smetana Hall in Prague's Municipal House, Orff's "Carmina Burana" will be performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Friedemann Riehle.

Orff composed the scenic cantata "Carmina Burana" in 1936. Since its premiere in 1937 at the Oper Frankfurt the composition has become one of the most popular works in the world of classical music.
