Beethoven's Seventh and Shostakovich with Alexeev

Pianist Dmitry Alexeev was recently named "the lyrical Russian". He will join the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Hans van Loenen (trumpet) for Shostakovich's beloved Concerto for piano, trumpet and strings. Beethoven's monumental Symphony No. 7, full of depth, sadness and lyricism is also featured on the program under the baton of Markus Poschner at the Concertgebouw.
