Artemis Quartet: Schubert, Beethoven & Bartók

The internationally acclaimed prize‐winning Berlin‐based Artemis Quartet performs string quartets by Schubert, Beethoven, and Bartók in the Philharmonie Berlin.

The program includes Schubert's "Quartettsatz" (Quartet Movement in C minor) which consists only of the first movement of a string quartet that Schubert never completed. This will be followed by Beethoven's String Quartet No. 16, one of the last great works by the composer. The concert ends with Bartók's final String Quartet No. 6.
