Geïnspireerd door de zeer beroemde show 'The Three Tenors' van Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo en José Carreras, zal dit onvergetelijke concert — met opera‐aria's gebaseerd op 'La Traviata', 'Rigoletto' en 'Tosca', afgewisseld met Napolitaanse liederen zoals 'O’ sole mio', 'Funiculì Funiculà' en 'Torna a Surriento' – zal een onuitwisbare herinnering achterlaten aan uw reis naar Florence!
Het optreden van de tenoren wordt verrijkt door een kamerensemble bestaande uit piano, contrabas en mandoline, allemaal begeleid door magische choreografieën uitgevoerd door twee dansers.

Auditorium van Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio
Het Auditorium van Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio ligt in het hart van Florence, vlak naast de beroemde Ponte Vecchio. De kerk, die nu wordt gebruikt als concertzaal, dateert uit 1116 en wordt beschouwd als een van de oudste kerken van de stad. Een mix van architecturale stijlen, variërend van romaans tot gotisch en barok, vormt een uniek podium voor culturele en muzikale voorstellingen. De kerk is versierd met talrijke uitzonderlijke kunstwerken, waaronder een kruisbeeld uit de renaissance en een crypte in middeleeuwse stijl. Ondanks de grote schade tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog en de overstroming van 1996 zijn veel van de kunstwerken gered en in zeer goede staat gebleven. Tijdens de restauratie werd een 15e-eeuws fresco van de school van Botticelli ontdekt. Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio is heropend als locatie voor culturele en muzikale activiteiten en vormt nu een belangrijk onderdeel van het artistieke leven in Florence dankzij het prachtig versierde interieur en de perfecte akoestiek.

Die Lokalität war nicht optimal. Im hinteren Bereich drängten die Geräusche von draußen rein, da die Türen nicht oder nicht gut geschlossen waren. Im weiteren war die Akkustik nicht optimal.

The performers were lovely, the atmosphere relaxed and intimate. If I can offer a suggestion — the venue has lovely potential, but the furniture messily placed around the "stage" detracts from the atmosphere. We still thoroughly enjoyed the evening and highly recommend the experience.

We had a really enjoyable evening with ‘The Three Tenors’ Even if you’re not an opera expert you’re in for a treat and we would thoroughly recommend. The pianist, cellist and mandolin accompaniment were excellent, as were the two young dancers. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you.

First time watching opera and really enjoyed the whole experience. Very warm in the venue so fans are needed. Hasn’t got many songs I knew so it’s more for those who listen/know their opera. Still enjoyed it.

It was an enjoyable evening; Incredible acoustics from our spot in Row 5; Charming entertainers. Beautiful voices, entertaining choice of music, a great exposure to traditional Italian music — both classical and popular selections. The venue was perfect for the music in the beautiful San Stefano Church.
