De Dresden Chapel Soloists bestaan voornamelijk uit leden van het Saksische Staatsorkest. Sinds 1994 zijn de musici verenigd in hun passie voor de historisch accurate reconstructie van het barokke, klassieke en romantische muzikale erfgoed. De Dresden Chapel Soloists staan bekend om hun opzwepende, levendige interpretaties, waarvoor ze al de Echo Klassik‐prijs hebben gewonnen. Hun drukke concertagenda brengt de Dresden Chapel Soloists naar alle belangrijke muziekcentra in Duitsland. In het buitenland treedt het ensemble op in Europa, Japan en Korea en op gerenommeerde festivals. De Dresdner Kapellsolisten werken artistiek samen met internationaal gerenommeerde solisten, waaronder Jan Vogler, Viktoria Mullova, Mirjam Contzen, Francois Leleux, Alison Balsom, Albrecht Mayer, Daniel Müller‐Schott, Tine Thing Helseth en Lise de la Salle. Helmut Branny en zijn ensemble hebben een langdurige artistieke relatie met het Dresden Kreuzchor.

| Orkest, Dirigent: | Dresdner Kapellsolisten The chamber orchestra Dresdner Kapellsolisten was founded in 1994 by young and committed musicians usually playing at the first music stand of Saxonian Staatskapelle Dresden. They are very concorned about attaining today's audience with interpretations of classical and romantic heritage performed as authentically as possible. This does not only mean for them interpretations which are faithful of the original according to today's historical and stylistic knowledge, but also to create a vivid language out of tension and impulsiveness of each work shaped by unique and special connections of phrasing, tempo and tone colour. |
