Albanian tenor Saimir Pirgu is among today's most sought‐after opera singers. In 2004, he was the youngest soloist to debut in a principal role at the Salzburg Festival, and since then, he has performed on the greatest stages of the world. Having begun his career as a protégé of Luciano Pavarotti, Saimir Pirgu was awarded the prestigious Pavarotti d'Oro award in 2013.
