Le pianiste brésilien Nelson Freire a une technique étonnante, un beau phrasé et apporte de la poésie à son style. Il est spécialiste des œuvres romantiques telles que le Concerto pour piano de Schumann qu’il interprète à Shanghai. Des œuvres de Weber et Bruch figurent également au programme.
