| Orchestre: | Orchestre de chambre florentin Fondé en 1981 par le maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta, l'Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina s'est rapidement imposé comme l'un des meilleurs orchestres de chambre d'Europe. En tournée à travers le continent et au‐delà, cet ensemble de 40 musiciens adapte ses effectifs au programme proposé. Officiellement reconnu par le ministère italien du Patrimoine et des Activités culturelles pour ses réalisations exceptionnelles, cet orchestre primé est régulièrement présent dans les émissions nationales et internationales et possède une discographie très riche. Collaborant avec de nombreux solistes, chefs d'orchestre et ensembles prestigieux, l'Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina se produit dans plusieurs des monuments architecturaux les plus importants de Florence et soutient également des concours visant à promouvoir et à développer la carrière professionnelle de jeunes artistes. |
Auditorium di Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio
L'Auditorium de Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio est situé au cœur de Florence, juste à côté du célèbre Ponte Vecchio. Aujourd'hui utilisée comme salle de concert, l'église date de 1116 et est considérée comme l'une des plus anciennes églises de la ville. Un mélange de styles architecturaux allant du roman au gothique et au baroque se combinent pour créer une scène unique pour des spectacles culturels et musicaux. Décoré de nombreuses œuvres d'art exceptionnelles, le crucifix de l'époque renaissance et la crypte de style médiéval sont également remarquables. Malgré les dégâts considérables subis pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et l'inondation de 1996, de nombreuses œuvres d'art ont été sauvées et maintenues en très bon état. Lors d'une restauration récente (1993), une fresque du 15ème siècle de l'école de Botticelli a été découverte. Réouvert comme lieu d'activités culturelles et musicales, Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio est aujourd'hui un élément clé de la vie artistique à Florence grâce à sa décoration intérieure soignée et à son acoustique parfaite.

It was a terrible performance. Precisely because they were all famous pieces, the mistakes stood out even more. If you’re thinking of attending this concert, I recommend spending your time on something more worthwhile.

Concerto piacevole anche se nelle locandine si parlava di orchestra, in realtà era un sestetto di archi (due violini, due viole, violoncello e contrabbasso), bella la chiesa ma troppo calda, date le temperature fiorentine necessita di aria condizionata.

We were very disappointed with our Saturday evening concert. It was perhaps the worst professional performance we have attended especially for the hundreds of Euros cost of the tickets for my family. The ensemble played as though they had never rehearsed together and the performance was unmusical and uninspired (despite a program which contained fabulous music from the greatest composers). Entrances were ragged, weak, ill timed and not together. Endings of phrases were rushed with the resolution cut short and inadequate sustain. Appropriate pauses and rests between phrases were ignored as though the group were in a hurry to leave. The first violin, despite being the soloist, appeared to make no effort to cue or otherwise lead the group and didn't have a mastery of the music as one would expect. I've never been to a professional performance where I so frequently grimaced or recoiled at the sound of missed notes, botched entrances and out of tune notes. This was an absolutely dreadful concert.

The auditorium was lovely but I would have liked to see the original paintings behind the screen. The musicians were talented and delightful! However I had no idea who they were. Maybe an intro of even the first violinist as a start. Lovely evening!
