The Bronze Horse: Komische Oper Berlin
A propos du spectacle
Eugène Scribe, the most highly productive librettist of the 19th century, wove a story around the extraordinary events in a small and sleepy Chinese village. It is a tale full of situational humour and surprising twists, which inspired Auber, the grand master of opéra comique, to create his most varied and funniest composition.
