Homage to John Cage: Art Music Performance

As a small festival within a festival, 'Tasten 12' offers an homage to John Cage on two evenings with recently produced contemporary piano pieces:

a grand happening in the Jacobi House with a talk and discussion platform, musical performances, Cage karaoke and a fitting culinary highlight — an evening in which the FFT Kammerspielen perform an electro‐acoustic concert, an art‐music‐performance and piano concert with installation. Experimental, avant‐garde and energising.

The düsseldorf festival! — formerly known as the altstadtherbst kulturfestival — presents in its 22nd edition a variety of classical music, contemporary dance and music, and sacred music. The Hilliard Ensemble, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Dance Company, Vokalensemble Ars Cantandi, or the Smith Quartet are only a few international artists to be named.
