| Piano: | Pascal Mantin Concert pianist and chamber musician par excellence, Pascal Mantin began his studies at a mere five years of age, graduating from the regional conservatoire with honours at just 15. Further studies followed at a national level, with several international competition wins continuing Mantin's stellar trajectory. In demand across Europe and beyond, Mantin is a frequent presence on the French national radio, and boasts an impressive discography as both a collaborative pianist, notably with Trio Daphnis and Trio Solstice, and as a soloist. |

Église Saint-Éphrem
Située dans un coin isolé du cinquième arrondissement historique de Paris, également connu sous le nom de Quartier latin, cette petite église pittoresque est un véritable joyau caché. Construite en 1733 dans un style corinthien authentique, l'église a été utilisée par différents ordres religieux jusqu'à la fin du XIXe siècle, date à laquelle elle est devenue le centre des mouvements sociaux catholiques fondés par Robert et Albert de Mun. L'intérieur est décoré de manière classique et abrite une impressionnante collection de peintures. L'église Saint-Éphrem est un lieu très prisé pour les concerts de musique classique, car son atmosphère chaleureuse et intime et son excellente acoustique attirent aussi bien les habitants que les touristes.
Frédéric Chopin
Frédéric Chopin était un compositeur et pianiste polonais de l'époque romantique (début du XIXe siècle). Il a principalement composé des pièces pour piano solo, mais aussi des concertos pour piano, des pièces de musique de chambre et des chansons sur des paroles polonaises. Il est reconnu comme un génie poétique sans égal de sa génération. Il a en effet créé le concept de ballade instrumentale et ses interprétations étaient réputées pour leur sensibilité et leur grande finesse. Il a passé la majeure partie de sa vie à Paris, où il se produisait dans l'atmosphère intime des salons. Il a souffert d'une santé fragile pendant la plus grande partie de sa vie. Il est donc mort assez jeune, à l'âge de 39 ans, probablement de la tuberculose.

Elio di Tanna was absolutely brilliant. I sat 2 rows back aisle seat right so I could see his hands. he plays so cleanly and with confidence. almost all of the compositions he played were from memory‐ i cant believe how wonderful a piano sounds when played by someone that talented

The interior of the venue was too hot. The atmosphere of the concert would be better if at least some ventilation was provided. Could not concentrate to the concert. Only the music was good.

This was one of the most passionate and intense concerts i ever saw. The pianist , Elio Di Tanna plays marvellously several Chopin pieces and the audience applauded him for long 10 minutes. Das Konzert war das Geld allemal wert: Ein hervorragender Pianist mit einem guten Programm in einem (nach Abschalten der elektrischen Beleuchtung) angenehmen Ambiente und in einer Kapelle mit passender Größe und wirklich guter Akustik. Die Organisation einschl. der Abwicklung der Bezahlung und der Zusendung der Online‐Tickets war problemlos.
