Après deux décennies, le chef d'orchestre Marko Letonja revient à l'Auditorium avec un programme qui mêle deux éléments clés de la musique symphonique : la Quatrième Symphonie de Beethoven, riche en idéaux héroïques, et le talent dramatique de Strauss. Le programme comprend deux chefs‐d'œuvre du célèbre compositeur autrichien : la Suite de Die Frau ohne Schatten, apogée de sa collaboration avec Hugo von Hofmannsthal, et les Vier letzte Lieder. L'adieu profond et fervent de Strauss marque son dernier salut au monde musical et démontre son talent exceptionnel pour transmettre des émotions humaines profondes.

Orchestre: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
