« Secoué, pas remué. » C'est avec ces mots emblématiques que James Bond baptise le cocktail Martini, un élixir intemporel. Ensemble, ses ingrédients créent un mélange harmonieux qui évoque la tranquillité chez ceux qui le dégustent. Le gin forme le « corps » de la boisson, rappelant le deuxième concerto pour piano et orchestre de Liszt. Le vermouth, semblable à une ouverture de Rossini comme Semiramide, établit la base avec sa présence aromatique. Un zeste de citron ajoute la fraîcheur juvénile que l'on retrouve chez des interprètes tels que Kiron Atom Tellian au piano et Emmanuel Tjeknavorian au podium, une note piquante et vivifiante. Enfin, l'indispensable olive, aussi fondamentale que la Symphonie fantastique de Berlioz, vient lier le tout. Cette œuvre reste importante pour l'Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, puisqu'il s'agit de la symphonie inaugurale qu'il a interprétée en 1993.
