À l'aube d'une nouvelle ère, ce programme relie deux œuvres fondamentales du répertoire à une composition originale. Tout d'abord, le Concerto n° 2 de Rachmaninov, rayonnant d'une passion postromantique, fait écho à la véritable essence de l'héritage de Tchaïkovski. Vient ensuite la Septième Symphonie de Beethoven, un joyau symphonique dont chacun des quatre mouvements offre une expérience précieuse à l'auditeur. Le concert s'ouvre sur la dernière œuvre de Nicola Campogrande, Gioco di squadra (Travail d'équipe), présentée en première mondiale en hommage musical aux Jeux olympiques d'hiver de Milan Cortina 2026.

Orchestre: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
