A propos du spectacle

Née à Yokohama, Sachiko Furuhata a fait ses débuts au Carnegie Hall de New York en novembre 2017, où elle a reçu une ovation debout. Depuis, elle s'est produite dans diverses salles de concert prestigieuses telles que le Herbst Theatre de San Francisco, l'Usher Hall d'Édimbourg, le Gewandhaus de Leipzig, la Philharmonie de Berlin et l'Elbphilharmonie de Hambourg. En tant que soliste, elle a joué avec divers orchestres, notamment l'Orchestre philharmonique d'État de Russie et l'Orchestre philharmonique de la radio allemande. Elle est l'une des pianistes les plus populaires et les plus demandées en Europe.

Philharmonie Berlin

The Philharmonie is a concert hall opened in 1963 in West Berlin. It is considered the musical heart of the German capital, as well as the new urban centre after the fall of the infamous Berlin Wall. Its distinctive bright yellow exterior and unusual tent-like shape quickly made it a city landmark. The surprising design and architecture were initially viewed negatively by many, but the Philharmonie is now considered a model for concert halls worldwide. The architect, Hans Scharoun, aimed to design a concert hall in which the focal point - the musicians on the concert platform - is equally visible from every seat, an aim that gave rise to the hall's unusual shape. Since its inauguration, the Berliner Philharmonie has hosted numerous concerts, often featuring acclaimed soloists and conductors.

Frederic Chopin

Frederic Chopin was a Polish composer and pianist of the Romantic area (early 19th century). He wrote primarily piano solos but also piano concerts, chamber pieces and songs set to Polish lyrics. He is well-known as a poetic genius without competition of his generation. In fact, he created the concept of instrumental ballade and his performances were noted for their sensitivity and fine distinction. He spent most of his life in Paris, where he performed for the intimate atmospheres of salons. For most of his life, he suffered poor health. As a result, he died quite young at the age of 39, probably of tuberculosis.
