Enter a world of magic and music. Harry Bicket of the acclaimed English Consort leads a star‐studded cast in a concert performance of Handel's dramatic opera, in Seville's Teatro de la Maestranza.
Seville's combination of Moorish and Western architecture make it an especially suitable setting for this culture‐clash tale of the First Crusade. Luca Pisaroni, Xavier Sabata, and Sasha Cooke lead the cast in a score that includes audience favorites such as 'Lascia ch'io pianga' and 'Cara Sposa'.
N.B. An introductory lecture will take place in the Press Room at 19.00. Free entrance.
