Dos naciones, dos paisajes musicales. Por un lado, la gélida extensión de Finlandia, donde Jean Sibelius se erige como una figura destacada de la música; por otro, las cálidas brisas de Andalucía, tierra natal de Manuel de Falla, una encrucijada cultural rebosante de encanto. Este programa se desarrolla como una serie de impresiones sinfónicas, donde la música se convierte en un «festín de timbres y ritmos», capturando de forma brillante las escenas únicas y fascinantes de estos dos países: desde La vida breve hasta Noches en los jardines de España para piano y orquesta, culminando en la majestuosa Sinfonía n.º 2 de Sibelius, el «manifiesto sonoro» por excelencia del patrimonio finlandés.

| Orquesta: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
