Después de dos décadas, el director Marko Letonja regresa al Auditorio con un programa que entrelaza dos elementos clave de la música sinfónica: la Cuarta sinfonía de Beethoven, rica en ideales heroicos, y el dramatismo de Strauss. El programa incluye dos obras maestras del ilustre compositor austriaco: la Suite de Die Frau ohne Schatten, culminación de su colaboración con Hugo von Hofmannsthal, y los Vier letzte Lieder. La profunda y ferviente despedida de Strauss captura su última reverencia al mundo de la música, demostrando su excepcional habilidad para transmitir profundas emociones humanas.

Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
