«Hay una razón por la que ciertas piezas musicales son tan famosas: es porque son hermosas», afirma el director musical Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. Esta verdad resuena perfectamente en la Sinfonía n.º 40 de Mozart, una obra maestra de las tres últimas sinfonías del genio de Salzburgo, que se distingue por su carácter melancólico y lunar en comparación con las otras dos. Por su parte, la Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano continúa su exploración de las obras sinfónicas de Shostakovich con la Sinfonía n.º 6, una composición más alegre que encarna los estados de ánimo de la primavera, la alegría y la juventud.
