Tour beyond the walls

Tour designed to have fun and get to know Barrio Chino, Santa Bárbara, La Negreta, Mercado Modelo and much more. On this tour we will leave the walled city and see different areas of the local city. In addition, you can get to know our national stone, better known as Larimar, and discover its secret! Itinerary: We met at the museum of the royal houses, next to the sundial, to begin the tour by visiting the slave factory and learning where the slaves entered, how they were sold and distributed. We continue enjoying the graffiti of Santa Bárbara and the church of the same name (military cathedral). Then passing through the Santa Barbara Fort we enjoyed a panoramic view of the city, we arrived at the Angle Fort and continued to Chinatown and the Model Market. Later, we continue towards the Santo Domingo boardwalk, and you will see the male and female obelisk. As you skirt the walled city, you will see the different gates that still remain.

Hells Gate Tauranga Shore Excursion

Bound for Rotorua (appx 1.5hr), enjoy an array of our all inclusive snacks & bottled water, sit back and take in the many beautiful scenic views. Take a geothermal walk which takes between one and one and a half hours, as well as Māori carving. Then bathe in our world‐famous mud baths and soak in the sulphur spas and cool plunge pool. We will do additional sightseeing activities to enhance your experience up to the maximum time available to allow a comfortable return to the cruise ship. Activities may include: Redwoods walk, Kuirau Park, Rotorua Lakefront, Scenic drive to Lake Tarawera lookout and viewing of the hidden paintings.
