Timo Andres and Gabriel Kahane cover four centuries of music in this performance at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall, mixing, combining, and free associating on classical compositions.

A call‐and‐response between the two artists is at the center of the program. Solo piano music is juxtaposed with songs for piano and voice that range from Schubert, Schumann, and Thomas Adès, to Jerome Kern and Andrew Norman.
