From Cats to Cabaret: the most beautiful musicals will come together on one stage this summer evening. The Noord Nederlands Orkest presents a whirlwind tour of the most beautiful musicals. A special choice of songs from strong women and men with a big heart. At the head of the orchestra you will hear musical stars Pia Douwes and Ruben Plantinga.

Pia Sleeves

Pia Douwes is the most successful international musical artist in the Netherlands. She sings a wide variety of rolls. So too tonight. Douwes moves with songs from Les Misérables and Sunset Boulevard. You will also hear a song from Elisabeth, the dramatic piece in which she triumphed internationally. The other trump card of SummerNight at the Musicals is lyrical baritone Ruben Plantinga. He creeps in the role of the Phantom of the Opera, among other things, and sings the tender Edelweiss.
