Das Klavierkonzert ist eine herzliche Hommage an den außergewöhnlichen und beliebten polnischen Komponisten Fryderyk Chopin, dessen Meisterwerke in den Konzertsälen der ganzen Welt zu hören sind. Der Pianist wird während des Solokonzerts Chopins ikonische Kompositionen wie die Impromptu Fantaisie, Präludien und das Scherzo Nr. 2 präsentieren.
Obwohl Chopin Italien nur einmal in Genua besuchte, beeinflusste der Kontakt mit italienischer Musik und Kultur in Warschau durch die dort lebenden Italiener sein Werk zutiefst. Neben Chopins Werken werden die Zuhörer auch italienische Kompositionen von Verdi, Mascagni und Puccini hören, die fachmännisch für Klavier solo arrangiert wurden.

Excellent concert. This was a piano player that gave a short explanation of every piece and the composer and how they were related. He was a teacher as well being a great musician. Intermixed some well known as well as pieces that I did not know. Best concert in a church that I have heard in years.
