„La Traviata“ erzählt die Geschichte einer Kurtisane, die sich gegen den Willen ihres Vaters Giorgio Germont in den jungen Adligen Alfredo Germont verliebt. Die Geschichte diente auch als Vorlage für die Filme „Moulin Rouge“ mit Nicole Kidman und „Pretty Woman“ mit Richard Gere und Julia Roberts. Die Oper wird von der Opera Company Florence aufgeführt, und jeder Akt wird auf Englisch erklärt.
