The Jet‐set, in the 1950s and 1960s, ironically indicated international high society, used to traveling by jet. Those were years in which the airplane was a luxury. Years in which every girl wanted to be a hostess and every man wanted to marry one. Years in which you could drink champagne and smoke happily on the plane. Those were the years when crooners went crazy and in Las Vegas you could attend the show el Rat Pack, or Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr with the Count Basie orchestra conducted by Quincy Jones.
Well, we are not in Las Vegas and it is not those years, there is no Count Basie, nor Quincy Jones, but the Jazz Pack is worth seeing.
