Conductor Yuri Temirnakov and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra join Orfeón Pamplonés for works by Shostakovich and Prokofiev.
Prokofiev's cantata, "Alexander Nevsky", opens the concert. Originally written as a film score, it became one of the most famous cantatas of the 20th century. The program continues with Shostakovich's First Violin Concerto, with soloist Sergei Dogadin.
