The world’s most famous opera house comes to the Pierre Boulez Saal—in the form of a brass quintet. The five musicians from Milan’s Teatro alla Scala perform arrangements from operas by Verdi, Bellini, and Rimsky‐Korsakov as well as compositions by Davide Sanson and Eugène Bozza. Also on the ‐program: Leonard Bernstein’s Dance Suite, the composer’s last completed work, heard here in the year of his 100th birthday.
