Queyras, Pahud & La Sage: Trios

"I can only play chamber music with friends," says Jean‐Guihen Queyras. "With friends you feel immediately what the other thinks, why he does something like this or that. And you can immediately respond musically." This is what Queyras does in his own Spotlight series in the Concertgebouw. Today he has intived flutist Emmanuel Pahud and pianist Eric Le Sage to join him on stage. Together they play trios for flute, cello and piano by Haydn, Martinu, and Weber.
