Delve into legends of bloody battles and Viking raids, into stories of loves won and lost, and into the myths of ghostly apparitions and miraculous rescues that inhabit Oslo's historic quarters. Starting at the City Hall, and visiting the medieval Akershus fortress‐palace that has become an emblem of the city, this walking tour takes you to some of historic Oslo's most legendary sites, including the 17th Century Kvadraturen, the Royal Palace, and the 1874 Grand Café, a favorite haunt of Norway's cultural giants, including Ibsen and Munch.
This walking tour lasts two and a half hours, and is available in English and Russian.
