Master Pianist Beatrice Rana: Schumann, Ravel and Stravinsky
O wydarzeniu
Meet the young Italian pianist who is changing the face of the international piano scene. Beatrice Rana has shot to prominence over the last few years, following a staggering run of competition wins.
Two musical loveletters from Schumann begin this recital — Blümenstück and Études symphoniques were both insired by Schumann's real‐life entanglements. A similarly autobiographical note informs Ravel's Miroirs, dedicated to his fellow 'artistic outcasts', including Calvocoressi. Finally, Agosti's transcription of Stravinsky's 'The Firebird' weaves its magic spell once more.
