The Tonkünstler Orchestra and conductor Jun Märkl play a program with works by Richard Strauss, Franz Liszt, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Experience three symphonic poems which can be seen as predecessors of programatic music: Liszt's 'Les Préludes', and Strauss' 'Don Juan' and 'Tod und Verklärung'.

In Rachmaninoff's 'Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini', jazz pianist Makoto Ozone has the oportunity to give full scope to his imagination and surprise the audience with improvisations.
