As part of the Musikfest Berlin, the Konzerthausorchester, together with the Collegium Vocale Gent and its founder and conductor Philippe Herreweghe, will be performing at the Philharmonie._
The Collegium Vocale Gent has been dedicated to baroque performance practice in the vocal music sphere for almost 50 years — so the rhetorical approach is deeply rooted in its DNA. The transparent sound of the ensemble can also be heard when, as on this evening, it performs a work from a completely different era: Antonín Dvořáks highly romantic Requiem for soloists, choir and orchestra in B flat minor op. 89.
