The celebrated soloists Isabelle Faust, Sol Gabetta and Kristian Bezuidenhout perform with the Kammerorchester Basel under the baton of Giovanni Antonini at the prestigious Philharmonie Berlin.
In Ludwig van Beethoven's Triple Concerto, the cello has a leading function alongside the violin and the piano, for among the three solo voices it is the first to present recurring themes and ideas. For its performance, eminent cellists join forces with equal violinists and pianists who otherwise have few opportunities to make music together beyond chamber music.
Alongside Gabetta, the multi‐award‐winning German violinist Isabelle Faust and the South African‐born Australian harpsichordist and pianist Kristian Bezuidenhout.
