Harpist Isabelle Moretti plays Debussy, Fauré and more

O wydarzeniu

Prepare to be enchanted by the magical strains of the harp, and by the charming harpist who plays it. One of very few harpists to create a solo career, Isabelle Moretti is acclaimed around the world for her versatility and verve.

Playing a selection of transcriptions and original compositions for harp, primarily written by the Frenchwoman's compatriots, including Debussy and Fauré, Moretti displays her range with works from further afield. Liszt, Albéniz, and a work by the nineteenth century German harp virtuoso Albert Zabel provide a variety of national colors, while Thierry Escaich's Le mythe d’Orphée confirms once again Moretti's crown as queen of contemporary harp.
