Grafenegg Summer Festival: Buchbinder & Friends

Start your Sunday in style this summer with a matinee concert in the stunning surroundings of the Grafenegg chateau in Lower Austria. The summer festival started its early morning performances last year and, after receiving tremendous support from audiences, has decided to continue the tradition. The first matinee of this year’s festival sees clarinettist and Composer in Residence Jörg Widmann and Pianist Rudolf Buchbinder take to the stage with a programme featuring works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Widmann.

Critically acclaimed pianist Rudolf Buchbinder is accompanied by five stellar musicians including Jörg Widmann (clarinet), Stefan Schilli (oboe) and Georgy Goryunov (violoncello) in a programme featuring Widmann’s Quintet for Oboe, Clarinet, Horn, Fagot, and Piano, Beethoven’s Trio Nr. 4 in B major and Mozarts Quintet in Eb major.
