Rinaldo Alessandrini, on the harpsichord, conducts the Concerto Italiano in a performance of Bach's works.

Rinaldo Alessandrini and Concerto Italiano are unanimously considered among the greatest interpreters of Baroque music and their recording of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos has been defined as the best ever made. This concert is also dedicated to Leipzig's Kantor: Alessandrini chose four compositions by Bach, including the Golberg Variations, and elaborated and transcribed them.
