Mt. Titlis and Lucerne Full‐Day Sightseeing Tour from Zurich
Pack or wear your winter gear (jackets and boots are also available to rent at the summit), and make your way to the central Zurich meeting point. Board your comfortable, climate‐controlled coach and relish scenic Swiss vistas as you travel over an Alpine pass and along the lake to the city of Lucerne, with a photo stop en route. On arrival, enjoy a short orientation drive followed by some time at leisure to explore Lucerne’s scenic Old Town. Continue by coach to Engelberg, a mountain resort cradled by the Swiss Alps. Climb aboard the Titlis Rotair, a rotating cable car that affords panoramic Alpine vistas. Take in 360‐degree views and then disembark near Mt. Titlis’ snowy summit. Enjoy some free time to explore inside the glacier at the Glacier Cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift (not included if snow experience option selected), if the weather allows, in order to get closer to frozen crevices. Soar down a snow slide on inner tubes in Glacier Park (when weather permits) and summon your courage to walk over Europe’s highest suspension bridge, the Titlis Cliff Walk. After pickup at a centrally located spot in Zurich, admire the picturesque scenery as you travel to Lucerne in a comfortable, climate‐controlled coach. An orientation drive grounds you in the historical highlights of the city, including Lucerne Jesuit Church, Chapel Bridge, and the Town Hall. Continue to Kriens and climb aboard a panoramic gondola and aerial cable car to travel to the summit of Mt. Pilatus, almost 7,000 feet (2,128 meters) above sea level.
