Soprano Karina Gauvin and the Venice Baroque Orchestra join forces with conducter Andrea Marcon for a full Antonio Vivaldi program at the 2015 Dresden Music Festival.

Dresden's close ties with Italy are clearly discernible not only in its historical architecture, but also in its musical and artistic treasures. In a continuation of this cultural connection, the Venice Baroque Orchestra, founded by the Baroque specialist and harpsichordist Andrea Marcon, already traveled to the so‐called 'Florence on the Elbe' for a guest performance back in 1997.
