Scenatet — MärzMusik

Scenatet is a Danish ensemble for music and art whose programme features a crossover of music, drama, installation and happening, through to experimental art forms that have yet to be defined or are undefinable. Each concert is individually created by the ensemble and the formation of the pieces part of the performances, which are often staged in unusual locations.

A younger generation of Danish and international composers regularly works with the ensemble. Among them are Simon Steen‐Andersen (Denmark), Juliana Hodkinson (England), composer and sound artist Marianthi Papalexandri‐Alexandri (Greece) and Sarah Nemtsov (Oldenburg, Germany). All of these composers, who reside in Berlin currently or from time to time, have been thrilling audiences here in the capital city for several years now. They sound out the artistic possibilities of interdisciplinary performances involving music, art and theatre.
