Radio Philharmonic and Otto Tausk dance to De Vries's Schizzo
O wydarzeniu
Dancing with lightness and grace is the theme of this program of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Otto Tausk.
An explosion of fireworks in delay is how the dance of Klaas de Vries' "Schizzo" ends. This is ideally combined with the famous Violin Concerto by Mendelssohn which leads the listener into the forest in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Significantly, the stately movements in "Pavane pour une Infante défunte" by Ravel are full of translucent sounds as the listener passes by. The evening ends with Stravinsky's rambunctious Symphony in Three Movements.
