The young Ukranian pianist Anna Federova shows the Concertgebouw audience why she has won over fourteen piano competitions, with a performance of Rachmaninov's ever‐popular 2nd piano concerto, in C minor.

Guest conductor Andrew Grams brings two much less well‐known works to the Concertgebouw from Russia: Tchaikovsky's 3rd Symphony, and Stravinsky's Circus Polka, written as an elephant ballet, and performed by the Barnum & Bailey's circus nearly 500 times!
