The Orchestre Lamoureux explores the excitement and daring of an era where nothing seemed impossible, and creativity of all kinds found a home in Paris. From Stravinsky and Poulenc, to the rarely‐heard 'ondes martenot' (one of the earliest electronic instruments) of Thilloy's Parfum, the air of experimentation and freedom from old constraints pervades this intriguing concert.
